Volume 3 gave some high hopes as it would definitely focus on Warcraft III. Volume 1 & 2 were awesome, collecting the ancient lore of Azeroth and Dreanor leading up to the events of Warcraft I and Warcraft II. It does seem like there will be at least, a Volume 4 to cover lore from Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion & Battle for Azeroth as well as any novels within them. *Yes, I did count the art on the Table of Contents page in both volumes as it is unique and does not reappear again in their respective volume.īasically, the additional 20 pages added to Volume 3 over Volume 2, could be seen as an additional 14 pages of art and 6 pages of content. Volume 3 has a total of 59 pages of art. Volume 2 has a total of 45 pages of art. So, I decided to do a count of the amount of art in volume 2 to volume 3 for comparing just numbers. I myself, love it all as some pieces show parts of lore never before shown in art by either Blizzard or amateur artists. I know several review mention the quality of the artwork in comparison to volume 2. However, please note that I did encounter a total of 3 blank pages in Volume 3 compared to just 1 blank page in Volume 2.
